SWWLA General Meeting

Board Member attending:  Larry, Connie, Martha, Sharon K., Cathy, Lori, Sharon R.

Members attending:  Sandy R., Ernie, Kyle, Danielle , Bob.

The meeting was opened by Pres Larry Raley.

The agenda for the meeting was to look at the annual budget, income and expenses.  Finding ways to enlarge our income from community sources rather than from within the association was discussed.

Making the fundraiser dinner cost pay for itself and not having reservations not paid for was discussed which may mean sending money at the time of making reservations.  Sharon K. moved that we not subsidize the cost of the Fundraiser Dinner, Cathy seconded the motion and it was passed.  Sharon K. will work with Jeanie.

The Cascade Llama Sale ad, matching 4-H donation funds, Western States Futurity sponsorship, Dr. Morris memorial, and Smith Animal Rescue are fundings that are likely to not be repeated.  Sharon R. moved that 4-H support, parades and research donations be continued and that other funding requests are to come in written form with supporting documentation.  Martha seconded the motion and it was passed.

Bob reported that we have new obstacles and the old obstacles that they replace will go to the Llama Greenway and perhaps be donated to 4-H.  Cathy moved that after the Nationals Show the obstacles that are no longer needed be donated to Clark County Llama 4-H.  Sharon K. seconded the motion and it was passed.
