Keeping up with the new popularity of Social Networking, SWWLA has a group page on Facebook now. So come by and join the group and keep up on the latest information about the club and upcoming events!

To enable the membership to communicate easily online, we have set up a forum using Yahoo Groups.

Our Yahoo Group is SWWLA, and it gives us not only an online community area where we can ask questions, post brags, make announcements, or just chit-chat, but also a photo area to share pictures and a files area to share documents. There is even a calendar available.

Many of these features are not getting a lot of use as people are still learning to use the site. It's easy! Go to Yahoo Groups and sign up. Then find our group, SWWLA, and apply to be a member. Because it is a private group which is not visible to non-members, the group administrator will have to approve you. You will receive an email shortly after letting you know you are in.

You can setup your preferences for the group to send you no emails at all, and then you will have to go to the Yahoo Groups website to see new messages. You can also set up your preferences to either email you every time someone posts, or to email you once a day with all the posts for that day. That way you can keep up on conversations at your own pace.

Pictures from parades and other events will be posted to the SWWLA Yahoo Group as they are available, so check there for the latest activities!
